How soon do you deliver?
The last thing we want on our conscience is knowing that your mum didn’t get her flowers! Or worse, a bride at an altar barren of blooms! Arrgh! We simply couldn’t do it to you!
So we will make every reasonable effort to get them to you in accordance with the following policy…
Same day delivery is guaranteed when the order is placed by 1pm weekdays and 10am Saturdays.
There is no delivery service on Sundays except Valentine’s Day, Mothers’ Day and other special events.
Standard domestic deliveries will be made between 9am and 6pm.
Deliveries to business addresses will occur before 5pm.
If a special delivery time is required, please call 03 5221 8051.
All orders received after these same-day cut off times will be delivered the next working day.
What if no one is home when the flowers/gifts are delivered?
If no one is home we’d be sorry to have missed you as seeing your reaction when you receive your flowers is often the best part of our day! Nonetheless, we’ll cope…
We’ll leave the gift in a safe, weather protected spot. They will be in a water pack and still look bright and happy to see you when you arrive.
If we are given an incorrect address we are able to re-deliver but may collect for an additional delivery charge. If the recipient is not there at the time of delivery our courier will leave the flowers in a safe location. If the courier is unable to leave the order or gain access to the property, we will phone the sender and arrange alternate delivery details and additional delivery fees may apply.
How much do you charge for delivery?
Delivery prices are determined according to the suburb. Please call for more information.
How do I look after my flowers?
Caring for cut flowers is what we do! In fact – we’ve built a business with this knowledge. So here are our Top 5 tips that will ensure your blooms last and last. Give us a call if you want more.
- Ensure the vase is clean and contains clean fresh water. Trim all leaves in contact with the water. (Leaves contain bacteria that contaminate the water.)
- Cut stems diagonally 2cm from the bottom before putting in vase.
- For arrangements in foam holders, top up water as soon as you receive them then daily after that.
- Avoid putting your precious blooms in direct sunlight, near air conditioners or heaters or in draughty positions. They dry out faster than they can replace their moisture.
- Remove the dead flowers from the bouquet. It’ll help the others last longer.
Where do you source your flowers from?
Most come from around Torquay and Colac. Our suppliers are fabulous to work with because they share our passion and sense of wonder for all things floral. Additionally, we’ve got some fantastic growers supplying stunning blooms from other regions of Victoria and around the country too. And let’s not forget our international suppliers in New Zealand, Singapore and The Netherlands!
Do you have a physical shop?
Yes! We are located at 91 Ormond Road, East Geelong. Come in for a look. We’ll show you some of the best flowers from around the country and the world!
Do you have a team?
Not a team. We’ve got the best team! Meet them on the About Page. They’re a bit quirky, highly skilled and a lot of fun. The studio just wouldn’t be the same without them.
How long have you been in business for?
11 Blooming Years! Each one more fabulous than the last. It’s hard to believe we’ve grown from mum and I in the back streets of Newcomb. What a ride it’s been!
What is your refund policy?
Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the flowers and share your concerns. Alternatively, send a photo of your concerns to us or return the product to the store so we are able to assess the issues relating to your product. As each flower in unique, so too are your special requirements and concerns regarding your order. So we ask that you contact us directly on 03 5221 8052 or hello@jacintasflowerstudio.com.au to discuss any queries or concerns you may have in relation to your order. A number of solutions may be available to you.
All refunds for orders are credited back to the original credit card on which the order was processed.
Regretfully, we cannot arrange a resend of fresh flowers or a refund if the original flowers are disposed of. We need to inspect them to assess the cause of the problem.
What is your cancellation policy?
Refunds will be accepted 24 hours prior to the delivery date. We are unable to offer a refund on the day of delivery as the flowers and gifts will be already in preparation or transit. If you require any changes to your order please call 03 5221 8052 as soon as possible.
